We start our photos this week in Taipei, where Shen Yun New York Company kicked off the Taiwan leg of its Asia tour. Principal Dancer Angelia Wang poses to match the super tall skyscraper: Taipei 101. Here, she demonstrates the zǐ jīn guān (紫金冠), or the “gold standard crown.” (Photo by dancer Kexin Li)

This time, Helen Li is behind the camera with this photo of dancer Yuxuan Liu preparing for a performance in Kansas City.
