I purchased tickets for myself and 82 years old Native American, Snoqualmie, Mother for the Modesto, CA show and I ended up on surgery table for Cancer. I want Mom to see the show because Genocide, both Assymilation and annihilation, not only happened here but is happening to Great People In China. Only in China it is Chinese People annihilating Chinese People. I have seen the Show in Sacramento maybe 6 years ago and I will definitely take Her if Health allows this year. I’ve seen some great shows and this was one of them. Shen Yun is gravity defying beautifully orchestrated educational and touching Show.

I had the pleasure of seeing the performance at the Gallo Center For The Arts, in Modesto, Ca. The show was outstanding, and so were the people. I spend a little time speaking with people from the show at their sales table, in the Gallo lobby. I was fascinated by the performances of the stage performers and by the graphics imagery that was seen. I read the stories on this site regarding the persecution that existed in China and was saddened by this, but also understood that this is unfortunately what Chinese government has proven itself to be in the past--an oppressor.

For my 50th celebration of life, I want to broaden the experience of arts and humanities with my daughter and her best friend to see this show with me when it comes available to the Merriam Theater again, hopefully in 2021!

Not seen the show- but it’s on my ‘bucket list’

I am so pleased that I went to this show. It was beautiful and enchanting. It took my mind if the craziness I was experiencing. Just wish I had more snacks. Beautiful performance.

As a Dancer and a learner of the Chinese language, I was astonished. I went into the show thinking it would be like any other show I have seen, but I was truly wrong. As soon as the show had ended, I immediately started looking for Classical Chinese Dance schools near me, then I realized that I was not Chinese nor Asian. I did not know what to think, I knew that Shen Yun had white orchestra members but not dancers. I would still like to be able to preform and take part of Shen Yun but I do not know if it is a possibility. Still outstanding show! Highly recommend dancers that stood out to me were Carol Huang, Marilyn Yang, and Jay Huang Amazing job to you! And all the Shen Yun Dancers as Well! 直到我們再次金面！ Shane Leigh

Have not yet seen the show. However, after learning of the ruling communist party's repeated malicious attempts over the years at shutting your show down, I will now make it a point in life to see your performance. Admittedly, I have long avoided seeing the show, thinking it was just outlet for revising history and self-exhortation by the communist government. After learning the truth and the origins of how Shen Yun got started, however, I became quite embarrassed by my self-inflicted ignorance. I hope that all is well with all of the performers and staff with out current global situation, and that everyone is healthy and safe. Looking forward to the end to current restrictions, and to your return to the San Francisco bay area. So many people have had many wonderful things to say. Can't wait to see for myself!
